Reiki heals on all levels, emotionally, mentally, spiritually and physically. It is a holisitic healing that helps to heal the whole of the body. Healing does not always occur on a physical level first, physical conditions are caused by blockages in our energy systems, these blockages manifest from emotional/mental/spiritual issues. Reiki may need to work on the emotional level first, helping to release negative emotions, such as fear, anger etc. releasing negative thought patterns. Reiki treats the cause; the root of the problem. It is a very gentle healing and a non-invasive therapy that can be used in conjunction with other therapies. It adjusts to each persons needs and each persons healing.

I practice Reiki at home, in Epping, Essex. I have a room which is my 'Reiki room'. I take each persons journey of Reiki very seriously, although Reiki does bring a lot of fun and laughter with it, which is fantastic. Sessions are for about an hour, although it is wise to allow an hour and a half in all, as after the session I will talk through how everything went and you have a chance to discuss how you feel, if you want to. Everyones experience of Reiki is unique. Every time you come for Reiki it will be a different experience, as your body and mind are in different places at different times.

The amount of treatment you will need, and the frequency of them just depends on what healing you need. Some people come for a spiritual experience, or an 'MOT' and they might want to come once every couple of months. If there is a particular problem you want help with then I will discuss this with you on your first visit, it could be weekly, fortnightly, monthly etc.

Many people who come to me say that they will not be able to relax, that they can't sit still for five minutes and then are amazed at how relaxed they are during and after the Reiki session. So being relaxed is probably the first thing people feel, which is great for us and our bodies. Some people sleep like angels after, when they have had sleeping problems for years. Peacefulness and clarity of mind is experienced by many people, often people realise they are dealing with stressful situations in a much more relaxed and calm way after having Reiki. Everyones experience is different, but the amazing thing about Reiki, is that it carries on healing you long after your session has finished.

Healing is a journey. It can take us days, months, years for our bodies to get into a negative state. So obviously it will take time for our energies to completely balance out again. Healing also requires self-responsibility, and it is a two-way relationship; Reiki helps facilitate healing. The person needing healing has to take on board that facilitation.

The vibrations of the drum, which mimics our very existence in our own heartbeat and the beat of the earth and the vibration of the Reiki energy allows healing to take place at a very fine level.
I offer Reiki Drum Healing in my Reiki practice, Reiki Drum Mental Reprogramming and Reiki Drum Journeying.
Reiki Drum Mental Reprogramming allows the Reiki energy to treat negative habits or habitual patterns in that it facilitates a shift to the positive mind.
Reiki Drum Journeying facilitates an altered state for the client and helps with guidance on personal, career and spiritual problems. It can also be used to meet spirit guides or power animals and can expand the client’s consciousness.
